To Bee or not to Bee….the answer, quite frankly, is Bee. That’s right, it’s review time this week as Rob and Ross tackle the latest film in the transformers canon – Bumblebee. No not a mega-laser canon. You know, canon, as in a collection of films, books, etc all related to one greater, dare I say….universe.
It’s a bumper episode for number 2 as this time around we kick off with a brief news overview with some box office performance peppered in there before we move on to the main event – a trailer extravaganza! From Alita to Dumbo (weird similarities in those two), and from the Spiderverse to Captain Marvel, it’s all in there!

Here it is. The long awaited launch of the most exciting podcast this side of Wakanda – I Understood That Reference. (For those that don’t understand, click here). Brought to you by Rob & Ross, this podcast follows the conversations of two film, comic and video game enthusiasts as they discuss what’s trending in pop culture today. Pretty unique right? The main focus will be movies and comics and we’ll be uploading episodes routinely up here along with some other written pieces – whenever we’re inspired to write them. This also marks the beginning of The Great Reference Game – Rob vs Ross in a winner takes all and loser takes a fall reference competition!
But ultimately, this is really just a creative outlet for the kinds of things we chat about daily anyway. You may find some of the comments insightful, the humour daft or the tangents very tangental but we’re hoping there’s something in here for everyone. Have a look around!
